Have you ever heard of nomophobia before?
I thought it was a joke at first, but I quickly realized that not only is nomophobia not a job, but countless millions of people are suffering from this in America (and around the world).
Nomophobia is not being able to be away from your phone. In other words, you get extreme anxiety anytime you aren't within arms reach of your phone.
And probably not a shocker that so many people could be described as nomophobes because the majority of America spends more time with their phone than they do their spouses, kids, etc.
If you are anything like me, my cell phone is usually always within reach (even while sleeping).
No wonder we all feel like our freedom is being taken away from us... tough to have freedom when a phone controls us as much as it does.
In this video, Joe Simonds (author of Fishing For Happiness), describes five signs that you are definitely addicted to your phone.
