Today we're continuing on with our BIBLE STUDY WITH ME series going through the book of Jonah, and in this video we'll be doing an in-depth study on Jonah chapter 2! Most prophetic books focus on the words of the prophet, but this book is unique in that it is a story about the prophet Jonah himself. This story is sooo much more than a story about a man who gets swallowed up by a big fish, it's a story that craftily causes the reader to examine his or her own heart and ultimately, a story that masterfully reveals to us the character of God and points us to Jesus. In this Jonah 2 Bible Study With Me video, Jonah finds himself in the belly of the the fish, and the majority of Jonah chapter 2 is Jonah's prayer crying out to God. When we unpack this prayer, there is ample insight to glean. One of the many things we'll see is this: God is using the trial to reveal what's truly in your heart. Let's dig in to Jonah chapter 2 together and see what God has for us in His Word! 🤍
