Hartford, is the capital city of Connecticut, and it offers plenty of things to do for visitors and locals alike. I spend a day in the beautiful city of Hartford and explore many great spots including the Connecticut State Capitol, the Old State House (the state capitol before the current one was built) Bushnell Park, and Elizabeth Park, as well as see where Mark Twain and Harriet Beecher Stowe once lived (they were both neighbors at one point.

Hartford also has some great places to eat including (but not limited to) MM's Gyros & Spuds for tasty gyros and Ichiban Japanese & Korean for some authentic Japanese and Korean cuisine.
