On Monday, Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi and Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pledged to enhance trade between their neighboring countries to $10 billion annually, as Raisi embarked on a three-day visit under stringent security measures in the Pakistani capital. This visit occurs as the two Muslim neighbors endeavor to mend relations following unprecedented military actions earlier this year. "Both parties have committed to elevating bilateral trade to $10 billion USD within the next five years," stated Sharif's office in a press release following a joint news conference.
