Splendid radio with it's quirks. The AGC is very good, though lacks a delay circuit for treating attack overshoot. My unit puts out a solid 15 watts into the march antenna and any other external antenna with a simple matching device. The internal matching unit has plenty of tuning range, but definitely needs a real SWR bridge/power meter to pull out the last watt. Modulation is pretty good provided you can find a decent carbon microphone capsule or modify an electret or active microphone instead.
