Ancient tombs dating back to about seven to eight hundred years ago were recently unearthed at a construction site in Taiyuan city, Shanxi Province of China, according to Taiyuan Minicipal Bureau of Culture Relics.
Frescos and other funerary objects of great value were discovered inside the tombs. The researchers are busy doing protection works and preparing the tomb for relocation.
