This is an interview with advocate Raja Muhammad Irshad, former deputy attorney general of General MUSHARRAF’s regime (1999-2007). He reveals some new facts about kidnapping of the whole team of a secretive Field Intelligence Unit (FIU) by Altaf Hussain’s MQM in Karachi about 30 years ago and how Gen Musharraf got MQM off the hook to gain their political support.
In part 2 of this interview following soon the lawyer also makes revelations about Raymond Davis case in which he represented the ISI and also the families of the two Pakistanis killed by the American who was subsequently set free. In the end he makes some interesting disclosures about high profile missing persons cases before the Supreme Court in which he used to represent the state.
