BOSS Blues Driver Vs ProCo RAT 2
In this episode, we'll be comparing the BOSS Blues Driver BD-2 and the ProCo Rat 2. We'll be checking out the low gain, medium gain and the pedals with the gain maxed out. We'll compare their tone, level and gain controls as well.
The pedals are going through a Vox AC15c1, set clean. The master volume is cranked and the Normal channel volume is a 9 o'clock. The amp is mic'd with a Shure SM57, set off axis. The NUX and Northern FX are powered by a power supply and the Wampler is running on standard 9V batteries. How close do these pedals get, or how different are they from one another? Let me know in the comments!
