Antibes is a coastal city in the Alpes-Maritimes department of southeastern France, on the Côte d'Azur between Cannes and Nice.
Amazingly, there are 48 beaches along the 25 km (16 miles) of coastline that surround Antibes and Juan les Pins.
To visit visit and really appreciate Old Antibes, you have to take your time. Take the time to wander through its alleys, carefully observe the hidden details on the facades and doors, smell the flowers, enjoy a drink in a sun-soaked pavement café or eat a homemade ice cream... and then, round the corner, you'll see the Mediterranean Sea...
There is a cathedral, the Picasso museum and many side streets lined with shops. A beautiful place to spend time.
