Link to the larger battery I installed to help idle voltage when fan is on, GoPro charging, phone charging, etc:

Link to the Trail Tech Fan kit I used, only slighty modification required. I think one hole needs to be drilled. [ Ссылка ]
As you know, 650R doesn't have a cooling fan and get very hot, very fast, when not moving, or going very slow.
Since Trail Tech did not make a direct Bolt on kit for the 650R, I used the KTM/Husqvarnia kit. Only a couple slight modifications and the fan bracket bolted on perfectly.
In fact, all I really had to do was drill the four small bolt holes into the frame of the radiator, and trim the copper temp sensor a bit.
The instructions explain to use the existing holes on the KTM/Husqvarnia, but the 650R doesn't have them drilled, no problems.. just line the fan up, and drill them! The side of the radiator is just a bracket, no need to worry about creating a leak. The bracket width is the same as the XR650R radiator width, fan placement fits great. Use the supplied screws, done!
Regarding power, I already had the Baja Designs halogen 35w headlight and regulator/nicad battery, which holds about 12V at idle with the fan on, with the Voyager Pro on and charging from a dead battery. When I turn just the headlight on, fan off, power drops to 10v. I would not use the halogen bulb and the fan together. I will see you about updating the halogen bulb to LED, but wanting to do that anyways. maybe when the battery charges it will be better.
Update: I added a small 1.4aH battery under the seat, and it does a good job regulating voltage, now between 12.4 fan on, 13.7v fan off. Before, it was about 12.0v-14.x? So basically it appears like I have about 35w of power to play with, The headlight is 35 watts, and the fan is about 35 watts, So it's one or the other with stock Stator. It helps run the headlight and fan at same time, but power is low, in the 11's. which should be fine since the fan usually only runs for a minute or two. But I'll eventually get a higher output Stator so I can have a bright headlight.
