95% of your customers are good, decent people. The problem is that many of our customer service rules are created for that awkward, pain-in-the-ass 5%. Our brains give so much more weight to negative behavior and as a result we try to eliminate all risk by creating insane rules. We try to manage the 5% by punishing the 95%. I invite you to create customer experience policies based on the behavior of the 95%. This would create a whole new world.
