We stayed in a well located but so-so apartment Rue Saint-Jean for the week and got to enjoy our evenings in and around Bayeux.

The Cathedral is massive and architecturally beautiful.

The Bayeux Tapestry was very interesting but unfortunately allowed no photo or video.

Most of the restaurants we tried were quite good, if a little pricy. Hey, it's a tourist town. Be sure to experience Norman and French cuisine including mussels, escargot, foie gras, galette, and of course the local cidre, Calvados, and caramels.
