Through the expertise of Dr. Nitesh Patel, M.D, a fellowship trained neurosurgeon with a special focus in neuro-oncology, we develop an understanding of brain metastases and explore current management options. We will review the indications and prognoses for observation, medical therapy, surgical excision, and radiotherapy with a brief overview of diagnostic and treatment algorithms. We will also compare and contrast various radiotherapy delivery systems and approaches to surgical resection.
Whether you're an undergraduate or medical student considering a career in neurosurgery or an experienced practitioner looking for an overview of brain metastases, this seminar is a great way to learn more and gain insight into brain metastases!
