The first thing that will catch your attention on the 26 Makaira is the massive bow on this boat. We had a chance to run this boat in the San Juan Islands last winter and it simply mows down any chop in it's path. These boats are built in New Zealand and this is the first of its kind in the US market. The aluminum work on this boat is simply impeccable and the hull design with the wide Carolina flare will capture your eye. This model is powered with a single Mercury Marine 300 horsepower outboard that push it to a top speed in the low 40's. This Makaira is the first of it's kind in the US and they can be found at Tom and Jerry's Boat Center in Mount Vernon, Washington.
