The Bathtub shape was Fruehauf's signature tipping trailer design in the 1970,80,90 and 2000. For many it is a lighter construction than the plank sided variant and that gives important payload benefits. The U shape corners give additional benefit to assist clean and even clearout of product when tipping. The side radius is very clever - it grades from 8 mm where it joins the floor to 5 mm where it joins the side sheet. I am sure others would argue but if it is a bathtub shape tipper you are after the Fruehauf is the best in class - with over 10,000 produced for the UK market and still counting.....
