NTHS is an organization that recognizes CTE students who have shown effort and aptitude in their chosen trade area.
One of the highest accomplishments bestowed on a CTE student.
It was created to bring honor and recognition to Career and Technical Education
Awards nearly $300,000 in scholarships each year.

Atlantic Technical College first opened its doors in August 1973 and over the years, has had four major construction phases and added two campuses - Atlantic Technical College – Arthur Ashe, Jr. Campus in Ft. Lauderdale and the ATC ESOL Center on the Coconut Creek High School campus. ATC offers over 30 Certificate and Applied Technology Diploma programs, workforce education courses, and house a Magnet High School.
Programs are concentrated in 7 high-demand occupational clusters:
• Architecture & Construction
• Business Management & Administration
• Health Science
• Hospitality & Tourism
• Information Technology
• Manufacturing
• Transportation, Distribution & Logistics
For those who want to “earn-as-they-learn,” ATC provides the largest apprenticeship training program in the state.
Atlantic’s Technical High School has been designated a National Model School by the International Center for Leadership in Education. Atlantic Technical High School’s unique design allows students to become immersed in a rigorous and challenging learning environment, while capturing their interest in a variety of career focused electives. Students will earn a diploma with credentials surpassing the state requirements in academics, enabling them to be competitive in the college admission process.
