ชีวิตในชนบทของประเทศไทย
So we're finally in Thailand! We landed on May 23rd so we've been here almost 2 weeks now, time is definitely flying by. But in that time we have done a lot!
We spent the first couple of days in Pattaya trying to sort out Natt's Thai ID, things didn't exactly go to plan but I'm sure that'll be sorted within a few weeks. However in the meantime we've both acquired an education visa which gives us 1 year here, with hopefully no headaches 😅🤞
After those 2 days we moved our things to the farm and started to furnish our house.
We bought 2 beds, 2 mattresses, a sofa and a wardrobe from a local furniture shop in Sanam Chai Khet and that came to a total of 19,000 baht (approx £450). We then went to Big C and bought a fridge/freezer, aircon, tv and wall bracket, rice cooker and gas cooker and that came to a total of 28,000 baht (approx £700).
Next up is the farm! We've already had the trenches dug and bought the liners for them. We've almost completed laying the liners so they will soon be ready to hold fish! Then the plan is to start planting our vegetables.
We had a little mini break in Pattaya courtesy of Natt's auntie too so that was lovely 🥰 definitely helped us adjust to the climate!
We'll start to update you more often now that we're here and settled so please like, comment and subscribe if you enjoy! Follow our journey 🙏 If you have any questions please comment below and we'll answer them in the next vlog!
