ARMANI AUTUMN WINTER
A square, triangle, rectangle, circle and rhombus were grouped together to form a sculpture for the backdrop to the Emporio Armani autumn/winter 2010/2011 menswear show on Saturday (16JAN2010).
Reflecting the outlook of an energetic man, the show opened with ski wear, followed by sweaters divided by angular lines.
One symbolic color ran through the whole collection, grey, a recurrent reference to the landscape of the big city.
Asphalt grey, slate grey, rainy day grey, wet grey. A seeming infinity of grey tones depicted the metropolitan universe.
Incorporated in to the designs were phosphorescent flashes in yellows, fluorescent greens, pinks, and violets.
A selection of trainers in collaboration with Reebok were shown in these colors.
Silver zippers added a techno edge to the clothes.
The finale featured thirty models presenting a high impact performance wearing the shoes from the EA7 Reebok collection.
Milan menswear fashion week runs til Tuesday.
