National Deer Association Director of Conservation Kip Adams discusses one of the most inexpensive and effective ways to increase deer forage in a timber stand. Increasing the amount of sunlight that reaches the forest floor will allow new growth of herbaceous and woody species, both of which provide excellent browse for deer and other wildlife.
