A discussion following the screening of "Running Wild" with director Suzanne Mitchell and Manda Kalimian, founder of the Seraphim12 Foundation. Screening took place at the Gold Coast International Film Festival, on October 26, 2013.

Running Wild: The Life of Dayton O. Hyde documents the extraordinary life and accomplishments of Dayton O. Hyde, a cowboy / poet who helped protect Lakota Sioux land from uranium mining, saved sand hill cranes from extinction and established a safe haven for wild horses. With the gorgeous Black Hills as a backdrop and beautiful footage of wild horses now running free, the filmmakers tell the story of Dayton O. Hyde and the founding of the Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary. Mr. Hyde, with grit and determination, saved scores of wild horses that were destined for slaughter. Director Suzanne Mitchell followed Dayton O. Hyde for more than 11 years, interviewing his family and volunteers of the sanctuary, to document this feisty and funny "Cowboy Conservationist."
