Música incidental utilizada en el Capítulo 3 de la primera parte del animé 聖闘士星矢 (Saint Seiya) mejor conocido como Los Caballeros del Zodiaco. Se transmitió el 1 de noviembre del 1986.
En Siberia cuando era niño, el barco donde viajaba su madre se hundió y quedo en el fondo del mar congelado. Curiosamente, cuando se eligió el sitio de entrenamiento para los niños huérfanos, a él se le asignó Siberia. En su primera aparición, Hyōga rompe el hielo para llegar al barco donde yace el cuerpo de su madre Natassia; él le lleva flores, reza junto a ella (es cristiano ortodoxo) y se despide, ya que partirá para participar en el Torneo Galáctico por la Armadura de Oro. Al salir del agua, logra obtener la Armadura de Bronce del Cisne al romper El Muro de los Hielos Eternos. Una vez en El Torneo Galáctico muestra sus habilidades contra su primer oponente, el Santo de Bronce de Hidra, derrotándolo con su técnica Polvo de Diamante.
Tenemos un tema que se le atribuye a un personaje principal. En las series es difícil la assignation de temas, ya que hay muchos personajes con los cuales lidiar; es por eso que se hace un generalización como temas de batalla, de nostalgia y para los personajes más importantes. En este caso, se tiene dos piezas: M-40 de naturaleza melancólica, utilizado cuando Hyōga se sumerge para llegar entre lágrimas con su madre. Musicalmente, el bajo sigue la misma idea musical (ostinato), así mismo, el hi-hat marca el ritmo, sonando en todos los pulsos. La voz humana es protagonista, llevando la melodía principal. Estando relacionada con el ritmo, es lenta usando notas largas y motivos ascendentes. Dado a que no se utilizan palabras, Kawashima utiliza una gesticulación cómoda para llegar a las notas agudas (E5 en voz mixta, nota más aguda), esta siendo similar a una U. Hay un poco de vibrato al final de las frases, pero destaca más por dinámicas de grado (piano).
M-57 es similar a M-40, siendo una canción de ritmo lento. Destaca el uso de la marimba en su sección armónica, así como, el platillo en la percusión. Comienza con una pequeña introducción donde la voz y la trompeta siguen una misma línea melodía que es desarrollada a lo largo de M-57. Ahora, su melodía es interpretada por un instrumento de timbre metálico similar a un instrumento de cuerda chino; es realizado por un sintetizador.

M-57 is similar to M-40, being a slow-paced song. The use of the marimba in its harmonic section stands out, as well as the cymbal in the percussion. It begins with a small introduction where the voice and the trumpet follow the same melody line that is developed throughout M-57. Now, its melody is played by an instrument with a metallic timbre similar to a Chinese stringed instrument; It is performed by a synthesizer.
