Ryan Cooper sets off to get himself into the criminal underworld of the Tri-City Bay and bring them down from the inside.
The Goal of this series is to complete, or get as close to beating the game as possible with the starter Nissan 240sx. In this case we will be treating it like Ryan Cooper's from NFS: ProStreet and building it up to PS spec (or as close as possible). I am aware the game was released after ProStreet but cannon isn't NFS's strong point anyway. Please note, this is not a 100% completion run as it would not physically be possible with the RPS13.

Need for Speed: Undercover is a 2008 racing video game, and the twelfth instalment in the Need for Speed series. Developed by EA Black Box and published by Electronic Arts, it was released on November 18, 2008, for PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS, and a number of mobile phone platforms; an edition of the game for iOS was later released on April 27, 2009. The game sees players conducting illegal street races within the fictional Tri-City Area, with the main mode's story focused on the player operating as an undercover police officer to investigate links between a criminal syndicate, stolen cars, and street racers.
The title moves away from the simulation based mechanics seen in Need for Speed: ProStreet. A new handling physics engine was introduced in the game known as the 'Heroic Driving Engine'. Vehicles in Undercover can directly turn 180° whilst performing hand brake turns.
Gameplay operates on the same manner as previous entries such as Need for Speed: Most Wanted and Need for Speed: Carbon, though included a larger selection of licensed real-world cars, an RPG-styled system in the game's main mode. Upon its release, the game received mixed reviews, many of which criticised the game's difficulty setting and repetitive elements, with some editions receiving lower scores due to severe issues. Undercover was later succeeded by Need for Speed: Shift in 2009, and Need for Speed: World in 2010.
Undercover takes place in the fictional Tri-City Bay Area. It is divided into four major districts; Gold Coast Mountains, Palm Harbor, Port Crescent and Sunset Hills. The game only takes place during the day. The city is connected by long highways that follow the perimeter of the city.
