Crispy RED LENTIL PAKODA RECIPE || Masoor Dal Pakora || Red Lentils Vegan Fritters Recipes

In this video, we show you how to make a crispy Red Lentil Pakoda Recipe, which is also known as Masoor Dal Pakora in the Subcontinent. Red Lentils (or Masoor Daal) is the key ingredient in vegan fritters recipes. This red lentil pakoda (also called vada, bhajia, pakora or fritters) is super crispy on the outside, with a flavourful and spongy centre. To make the Red Lentil Pakoda Recipe, you will need:
2 cups red lentils (masoor daal) soaked for 20 minutes
3 green chilies
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp fennel seeds
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
optional: 1 tsp chaat masala
1/4 tsp asafoetida (hing)
1/2 tsp sugar
half of a medium-sized onion
1-2 red chili peppers
1/2 cup coriander leaves
1 tbs cornflour (also called corn starch)
1 tbs rice flour
1/4 tsp baking soda
oil for frying

This red lentil fritter recipe (dali bora or masoor dal vada) is so easy to make and absolutely delicious, especially as a tea-time treat. They are also perfect for vegans.
