(16 Nov 2015) A small group of protesters burned a Chinese flag on Monday outside the U.S. embassy in Manila ahead of the Chinese president's visit to the Philippines.
The demonstators called on the Filipino government to protect the country' borders against China, which is locked in a territorial dispute with the Philippines in the South China Sea.
Chinese President Xi Jinping is expected to arrive in Manila Tuesday to attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) leaders' meeting this week.
