Aged Care Employee Day is Australia's biggest ever tribute to the age services workforce! It is also the day that Leading Age Services Australia, the voice of aged care, announces the State winners of the Excellence in Age Services 2020 Awards.
Our theme #ThanksforCaring recognises the more than 360,000 staff who are involved in caring for 1.3 million older Australians receiving age services.
This includes nurses and care workers, allied health professionals, hospitality teams, drivers, cleaners, volunteers, lifestyle officers, administration staff and many, many others.
