💪 Our most recent #softstoryretrofit project in West Hollywood used a different approach to achieve it's desired performance level - it used a #shearwall to protect it from earthquakes. Usually, shear walls are used together with cantilevered columns or moment frames to achieve the same goal, but this particular building is small and has a small tuck-in parking area.
