A controversy erupted over the construction of a replica of the Kedarnath Temple in Delhi. This temple is being constructed in Delhi, while the protest is taking place in Uttarakhand. The priests of Kedarnath Dham have sent out a strict warning that if this temple is built in Delhi, they will break the government 'brick-by-brick'. On the other hand, Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand has given a statement that there has been a gold scam in Kedarnath and 228 kg of gold has been stolen. This should be investigated.
