During our motorhome tour of Europe we detoured- into the Alps. It was only as we approached that we realised it was March (duh!) and there was a lot of snow!! Luckily, we carry snow chains- although we never needed to use them. We also have decent all-weather tyres- as we often find ourselves in crazy places!!

We stopped at a beautiful town in the Alps in a pretty aire, then headed across the mountains towards France. We were pleased that the roads were clear and easy to drive- good time to visit!!
