Death in the Family is the second mission in HITMAN™ III, in which Agent 47 must eliminate Alexa Carlisle, the third and final Partner of Providence, in addition to acquiring intel on Arthur Edwards.

Carlisle, having sensed something afoul after being relocated to Dubai via Haven's services, fled to Thornbridge Manor in Dartmoor, one of her three grand houses. The Carlisle family is holding a memorial for its matriarch, who faked her death that May, at the same time as an ongoing investigation into the apparent suicide of her brother, Zachary. After eliminating Carl Ingram and Marcus Stuyvesant--the first two Providence Partners--in Dubai, 47 travels to the manor in order to dispatch Carlisle and acquire intel on the escaped former Constant, Arthur Edwards.

As 47 and Grey skydive toward the building's top floors, they witness Alexa Alice Carlisle hastily leaving the building. Diana suspects the reason is due to The Constant, who has been seizing Providence resources since his escape from captivity.

While Diana tracks Carlisle, 47 and Grey continue their mission to infiltrate the Burj Al-Ghazali and eliminate the remaining Partners, Carl Ingram and Marcus Stuyvesant .

Alexa Cristine Carlisle, also known as Madam Carlisle, was one of the Partners of Providence and the matriarch of the Carlisle Family. She is one of the three secondary antagonists of the World of Assassination trilogy, being one of the three secondary antagonists of HITMAN™ 2, and the secondary antagonist of HITMAN™ III. She is the main target of Death in the Family, the second mission of HITMAN™ III.

Hitman 3 (stylized as HITMAN™ III) is the 8th and latest installment to the Hitman video game series. It was announced on June 11, 2020 and was released on January 20, 2021.[1] HITMAN™ III will be the first game in the Hitman series to be self-published by IO Interactive.[2]

The game will serve as the conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy. It will launch with 6 new locations to explore, and owners of HITMAN™ and HITMAN™ 2 will be able to 'import' locations introduced in those games into HITMAN™ III. Additionally, HITMAN™ 2 players will be given the option to carry over unlocks and progression into HITMAN™ III.
