Premier Street Rod solidified themselves in the custom restomod and truck scene from the time they opened back in 2011. Rob and Kerry Logsdon initially started Premier Street Rod Parts and Manufacturing as a parts shop in Lake Havasu City, Arizona to help create a career for their kids. With a specialty of providing quality sheet metal replacement products for classic trucks, Premier Street Rod also builds ’47-’53 Chevy and ’55-’59 complete Chevy truck bodies. These old-turned-new truck bodies are made better than the originals and have proved to be the perfect way to build one of these classic Chevy pickups.
Years later, their son, Ross Logsdon started tinkering around in the back area of the shop and developed a passion for customizing. In 2018, Ross and the Premier Street Rod team built a ’56 Chevy pickup known as Sinister and it won them a coveted GM Design award at the SEMA Show. In this video, Ross guides us through Premier’s facility and gives us a peek at some of the current projects that are getting built. We also check out the construction of their truck cabs and how they are finished to a shine.
