GWM unveiled the Souo S2000 GL, a large-scale tourer motorcycle that challenged rivals such as the Honda Gold Wing.
The Souo S2000 GL uses a 2,000cc Flat-Eight or 8-piston sleeper engine, different from the Gold Wing's 1,833cc Flat-Six engine and the K 1600's 1,649cc 2-piston Boxer engine.
The design of the Souo S2000 GL is inspired by an ancient lion from China, with round DRL headlamps that give the impression of a lion's eyes. The motorcycle comes with Hossack front suspension, Brembo brakes, electronic parking brake, TFT display with audio system and Bluetooth connectivity, electrically adjustable rider seat, Cruise Control, and electric reverse transmission.
The GWM Souo S2000 GL is expected to be ready for launch in July at the latest, with sales expected in the last quarter of 2024 or possibly after its appearance at EICMA in November.
