Another one of my big projects that I’ve finally completed after months. So I recently (or more like a while ago now) finished watching a new (somewhat old actually (11 years old) but somehow my first time watching it) anime and I must say, I haven’t seen anything as hitting as that in ages. It will definitely stay with me for a while as well as fit in with my favorites. It will also have a place in my AMVs. For the first one, the song may sound a little off as it’s about the fall of Rome and nothing to do with Angel Beats! but the lyrics do seem to have a pretty good connection to the plot of Angel Beats! and some parts of it and I just love the sound of the song as well as the feeling and vibes it gives off so I felt it would be a good mix. The song used is Civil War’s ‘Rome Is Falling’ off their album ‘The Killer Angels’. Some seriously underrated power metal. I originally planned on finishing it back in December/January along with my Gate AMV during my winter break but the Gate AMV itself already used up all of my winter break as well as a few additional weeks which delayed this particular one a lot. All the delays also ruined my chance of taking the spotlight for being the first to use this song in an AMV (AMV only. Dozens of others used videogame or film footage but no one used anime until recently) cuz of how someone recently made an AMV using this song lol. Oh well, I do have some other songs where I can take the spotlight lol. And I should be in the top 2.
