Silent film by artist Stig Evans exploring the Saloon Bottle of Brighton's Royal Pavilion. This area, a series of small rooms beneath the Pavilion's main dome, is inaccessible to the public. Stig's film shows the rooms as they appear today, and concentrates on the graffiti which can be seen on the walls. Much of this dates from the 19th and early 20th centuries, before the Pavilion was restored to its present condition.
Film produced for the 2013 Regency Colour exhibition in the Royal Pavilion. Please note that there is no audio accompanying the clip.
