Today we're making Kisir – Turkish Bulgur Salad, a favourite bulgur salad from North Cyprus & Turkey, this version is from a village in North Cyprus called Ergazi, it’s packed with flavor and a nice crunchy texture. You would normally find this dish served up at gatherings or as a side to a BBQ/grilled meats but We also like to eat it on it’s own with a little bit of garlic sauce or cacik (tzatziki).
Ingredients:
1 Cup extra fine bulgur wheat.
1 ¼ Cup boiling water.
1 tsp Salt.
1 Onion.
1 small bunch of coriander.
6 Cherry tomatoes.
2 Mini cucumbers.
Iceberg lettuce.
1 Sweet white pepper.
1 Ramiro pepper.
2 tbsp Tomato paste.
2 tbsp Pomegranate molasses.
Fresh Lemon Juice (1/4 Lemon when served)
