Here is a very easy way to get your Tiny House hooked up to a power supply. Look for a wall mount exterior RV electrical inlet and install it on the outside wall. A heavy duty twist lock RV extension cord is just the ticket to connect to power. A typical candidate is the 30 AMP 110 version you see in the video, but you can also buy different sizes, like 50 AMP, and voltages, like 220. You can also buy a 20 AMP adapter that will allow you to plug into a standard plug if needed. Use an Amp meter to find out how much current your house draws so you can make sure you're plugging into a circuit that can handle the electrical load. For example, if your house draws 15 Amps you can plug into a dedicated 20 Amp circuit. If your house draws 25 Amps you can plug into a dedicated 30 Amp circuit. You always want a little extra capacity.
Always apply extra caution when working with electrical systems, and enjoy your building adventures!
