I am thrilled to share that I have successfully completed my Mechatronics System Design project(Ain Shams University ), "Smart Production Line". This innovative project leverages the power of machine vision and robotic automation to revolutionize the production process. Here’s a brief overview:
🔧 Feeding:
A rotating disk powered by a DC motor, meticulously controlled by a PID controller, ensures precise and efficient feeding of products into the system.
📷 Sorting:
Using advanced machine vision technology, the system performs edge detection on products to distinguish between two different types of products. Additionally, it identifies and differentiates the head and base of each product.
🤖 Assembly and Storage:
The robotic arm takes center stage, assembling the identified parts (head and base) with precision. Once assembled, the robotic arm moves the completed products to the storage stage, ensuring organized and efficient storage.
This project has been a fantastic journey, blending the intricacies of machine vision, robotic control, and automation to create a seamless production line. I'm excited about the potential applications and future developments in this field.
