Mark Cavendish sets his sights on victory in the opening stage of the Tour de France in Corsica - and wearing the yellow jersey for the first time in his career.

"I think now the Tour de France for me it's what the season is built around, it's what I grew up watching the most incredible race on the planet. I think the majority of bike riders would say, 99 per cent of bike riders this is their dream to start the Tour de France. I'm lucky this is my seventh year starting and every year it has been the same excitement. Biggest bike race in the world in one of the most beautiful countries in the world and we are in a great team with some great form this year. So for sure I'm excited but I wouldn't say any more than any other years." said the sprinter about the most important competition on two wheels.
