Here I go with the detailed review of ATR42/72 Pros and Cons. ATR is one of the most produced commercial turboprop airplanes in the world. I was flying it for 7 years and ATR was my first airplane to be employed as first officer. After 3 years of flying I became a Captain and later ATR42/72TRI. However I had to change the airline and I went to fly in Garuda Indonesia.
Now I am Boeing737 pilot but still have good and warm memory about ATR times. I am willing to share my experience with you guys, telling the truth about the ATR, about it's good sides and disadvantages. There is no perfect airplane flying around, because every airplane has it own specific.
