Jeff Ross, director of Days Gone clearly is very bothered about Sony's decision to not move forward with the potential of a sequel. Sadly, the man can't move past this decision and attempt to understand what went wrong with his now forgotten mess of a game, the same game that released to mediocre reviews and problematic performance issues. The narrative he wants to sell is that the game was fine and that because of sales, a sequel should've been greenlit but as someone who works in the business, he should know that it takes more than a few copies sold to truly make a new IP successful in the long term.
