The leader of the Tabliq Muslim Sect in Uganda, Sheikh Younus Kamoga, has been arrested and detained at the Special Investigations Unit in Kireka. It is alleged that his three houses were later searched. Before his arrest, sources reveal that Kamoga was trailed by plain clothed men as he and three others drove to Nakasero, a Kampala suburb on Tuesday night. Police authorities remain tight lipped on circumstances surrounding his arrest.
