At the start of 1945 the Allies had pushed their way right up to Germany's Western border, next they would have to breach the Western Wall. Operation Veritable was an Allied plan to push into Germany towards the Rhine River. It was part of a bigger plan together with the US forces under Operation Grenade. But the operation didn't quite go to plan. In today's video we look at Operation Veritable, also known as the Battle of Reichswald and its impact on WWII.
