In this class, I take on the most wanted embroidery style of Free Standing Lace! Everyone wants to do it and many struggle. Now you can do it too easily with the guidance of this video! Yes! you can do FSL. I go through all the different things that you need to remember and I run you through the processes on your journey to create your very own Free Standing Lace Bookmark design. Remember, this is the basic Free standing lace and will provide you with a beginning of freestanding lace. After taking this class, I have seen digitizers create amazing FSL designs! As with any technique, you start with the basics and then keep working at it.
Yes, you CAN CREATE FREE STANDING LACE. I am going to show you how to do it!
The Skills learned include:
Setting up and Laying down your base
Adding layers and stitch angles
Adding the outer hanging loop for attaching a ribbon
Adding a section of fringe
Adding Lettering and other elements to the base of the design
And finishing with other ideas the make your FSL more Fancy and beautiful.
