On the evening of March 14th, 2024 the lives and the communities of Lakeview and Russells Point, Ohio were forever changed as a powerful EF3 wedge shape tornado tore through the cities in the middle of the night. Claiming the lives of 3, and injuring dozens others.

I grew up in this area, and this place is like my second home. To see so many memories, and so many familiar places in utter ruin leaves me as heartbroken as a storm chaser and journalist can get. This mornings light, revealed the extent of the damage as crews and residents slowly work to pick up the pieces and figure out if or when they will be able to rebuild.
