Half-Life 2: Update is a modded version of the regular HL2 that adds some graphical improvements to make the base game more in line with the episodes.

However, not all the improvements are quite visible. So today, I show you some of the differences that you can expect in this mod and how they impact the overall feel of the game.

The Gravity Gun seen in this video isn't the actual Gravity Gun used in the update. I just realized I used a custom HD model in this version of the game. I'm sorry for my incompetence.

Garry McTaggarts commentary was taken from the developer commentary in the Lost Coast stand alone demo Valve released in 2005. McTaggart doesn't work at Valve anymore, nor does he know that his commentary is being used in this video. Just the heads up.
