August 26th marks the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment and women gaining the right to vote.
“We Stand on Their Shoulders”, is an exhibit designed by the Wisconsin Historical Society to tell the story of the struggle to pass the 19th amendment and the years following as women began to take a more public role in political life.
