The person in a negotiation who is in a rush will always be at a disadvantage. Patience is a key negotiation tactic because the person who has time on their side has the leverage. You'll absolutely lose out in a negotiation if you're under the gun. The person who can be patient, and take their time to make a decision, will almost always come out ahead.
