The Manhattan Bridge connects Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York City. It is a suspension bridge that spans the East River.

It was created by Leon Moisseiff, who also created the renowned Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco.

The Manhattan Bridge was the largest suspension bridge in the world with a primary span of 1470 feet when it was constructed in 1909.
