Heavy rains have been impacting several provinces in China over the past few days. In Wucheng, Shandong, a massive rainstorm led to 262.5 mm of rainfall, with Dezhou, experiencing this downpour in just a few hours, breaking the region’s daily rainfall record. Additionally, thermal convection within the subtropical high has caused short-term heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds in areas like Zhejiang and Fujian.
