This video provides suggestions for using GoPro HERO4 Silver and Black cameras to take breathtaking night-sky videos. It uses three different scenes to illustrate the importance of scene selection, ambient sounds and editing software. The GoPro was mounted in an open frame on a short tripod. Since battery life is approximately 2 hours, I attached an external battery for continuous dusk to dawn shooting. The scenes were filmed at Enchanted Rock State Natural Area,Texas, USA.
