🏠ROOFER SAFETY - LADDER HOISTS/LIFTS: Manually Carrying Materials Up a Ladder to get them on the Roof is VERY Labor Intensive AND Dangerous - Ladder Hoist/Lifts ARE Manufactured to Lift Materials ONLY - NEVER Operate Hoist with Personnel OR a Worker on the Platform.
•
🆘Observe AND Adhere to ALL Safety AND Warning Labels Attached to the Hoist.
•
⚡️ALWAYS Maintain a Minimum of 10 Feet Clearance of ALL Electrical Wires AND Equipment.
•
👀Be AWARE of Overhead Objects.
•
4️⃣:1️⃣4 to 1 Ratio, for every 4 Feet High the Ladder reaches Up, Set the Base of the Ladder 1 Foot out from the Wall. (This can be estimated by counting Rungs, which ARE about One Foot apart).
•
🦾Secure Hoist at Top - BUT do NOT Attach to Rails as this will PREVENT the Hoist from Operating Properly.
•
🈷️NEVER USE Track Sections as a Ladder.
•
🚶♂️NEVER Stand Under the Platform WHEN Lowering.
•
⛽️NEVER USE Gas Powered Hoist Indoors OR in an Area with Poor Ventilation.
•
⬇️NEVER USE Hoist to Lower Materials, USE ONLY to Raise Materials.
•
🔩ONLY USE OEM Replacement Parts - furnished by the Manufacturer.
•
🗑ALWAYS KEEP the Area around the Base of the Hoist Clear to prevent Slipping, Tripping OR Falling against the Hoist.
•
📿Secure your Load BEFORE Hoisting - it COULD come loose during Lift.
